You can learn how to apply techniques that are used in luxury jewelry pieces. We offer a variety of Metal Clay classes, Pearl-Knotting classes, & Kumihimo classes. Debra will take you through these techniques step-by-step. Project materials are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided; however, they will be available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. Class times can be arranged to fit your schedule. Private, Group, and/or Team-Building Classes can also be scheduled.

Topic-Specific Metal Clay Classes:

Beginning Metal Clay: Learn the basics of working with metal clay in order to create jewelry pieces of .999 Fine Silver. Project Materials (PMC, etc.) are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $150.

Metal Clay – Setting CZ’s: Learn a variety of techniques that can be used to mount and set CZ’s in a metal clay pendant. Project Materials (PMC, CZs, etc.) are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $175.

Metal Clay – Setting Non-Fireable Stones (cabochons): Learn all the steps for setting stones post-firing. Project Materials (PMC, Cabochons, etc.) are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $175.

Metal Clay – Rings: We will cover how to create different types of rings and work with their characteristics when using metal clay. Project Materials (PMC, CZs, etc.) are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $175.

Metal Clay – Focal Bead: Did you ever wish you could make a beautiful, custom-designed focal bead for a special piece of jewelry? You will learn how to design and create such beads in this class. Project Materials (PMC, etc.) are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $175.

Metal Clay – Weaving Paper Clay: Develop your skills in working with Paper Clay (very thin sheets of metal clay) to create a woven pattern for beautiful earrings that are .999 Fine Silver. Project Materials (PMC, etc.) are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $135.

Metal Clay – Dimensional Structures: Methods to create more complex jewelry structures of metal clay. Project Materials (PMC, etc.) are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $195.


Pearl-Knotting Classes:

Beginning Knotting: Using Chinese Knotting Cord, you will learn how to make a beautiful Mala necklace using specialized knots between each bead. Semi-precious gemstone beads are used for this lovely necklace. Project Materials are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $85.

Pearl-Knotting with Baroque Pearls: Very thin Griffin Silk thread will be used in this knotting class. We will be working with lovely Baroque Pearls in order to create a beautifully-distinctive necklace. Magnification is a must for close-up work. Project Materials are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $175.

Two-Thread Pearl-Knotting (using no tools): For extra security with your pearls or other fine gemstones, you can learn how to knot with 2 threads instead of only one. And, for extra fun, we learn how this can be done with no tools! Project Materials are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $145.

Knotting Tiny Gemstones: Magnification is a must for this class. We will be using tiny (2-3mm) gemstones such as Garnet, Amethyst, Chalcedony, Labradorite, etc. Knotting will be done with very thin Griffin Silk thread. Project Materials are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $135.

Kumihimo Classes:

Beginning Kumihimo: You will learn the ancient Japanese art of braiding using the Kumihimo foam disk. You will create a beautiful corded necklace paired with a stunning gemstone pendant. Project Materials are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $85.

Beaded Kumihimo: In this class, you will learn how to include seed beads on your Kumihimo braid, creating a beautiful beaded necklace! Project Materials are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $95.

Turquoise Nugget Kumihimo Necklace: You will learn the technique of using natural gemstones with your Kumihimo braid. In this class, we will be using lovely genuine Turquoise nuggets. Project Materials are provided. Consumables and tools are NOT provided, but are available for your use when taking "In-Studio" classes. $175.
